Christ Church Cemetery, which is located along West Victoria Street in Amherst, is both a historic treasure and a cemetery in modern use. It is located at the original location of Christ Church, which was built on the site in 1823.

Christ Church Cemetery will be closed from November 15 – April 15. We ask that you remove all plastic items, such as plastic flowers, from the cemetery before November 15 as they do not survive the winter and often have to be removed from bushes and trees in the spring.
Please note there is no winter maintenance of the cemetery and anyone entering does so at their own risk.
