Between the Services Chat – BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND
9:45-10:30 a.m. – Sunday, June 15
In January, the Rev. Cathy Simpson spoke to a receptive crowd for our inaugural “Between the Services” talks. On June 15th, Cathy will return to help us explore some important questions:
- What does a “good death” mean to you?
- How does Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) figure in it, or does it?
- What does the Anglican Church of Canada say about these concepts?
Please invite family and friends. These are important questions to ponder.
Community Suppers
Our final community supper before summer, will be a barbecue held in Victoria Park (off Victoria Street in front of the church).
Supper Circle
On the second Saturday of each month, a Saturday Supper and Service is held from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Cumberland Community Youth Development Centre, 17 Lawrence Street.
The evening begins with a “kid-centered” service with activities and is followed by supper. All are welcome to attend.
Parking is available at the church, 5 Lawrence Street.
